I was wondering if you could tell me what are those holograms or projections that I see in town every once in awhile. One is a casted by a ranger and looks like a gold deer or elk, and the other one is a tiger. Second how does one get this ability.

Those are done by the /rank emote. As you win in Tombs of the Primeval Kings and Hall of Heroes you'll earn fame. Get so much fame and you'll get rank points (in think it's 25 fame for the first rank point). Get certain amounts of rank points and you can do the /rank emote which is what you've described. 3 points gives you the elk, I think it's 9 for the tiger.
